First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at how well the tiny blood vessels in the lungs recover after a balloon procedure (BPA) in people with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH). CTEPH is a condition where old blood clots block lung arteries, making it hard to breathe. Researchers will measure lung function before and after the procedure in 40 participants to understand the recovery process.
