Blood test may help some breast cancer patients avoid extra treatment

Summary
This study looks at whether a blood test (Signatera) can help decide when to start a targeted therapy (CDK4/6 inhibitor) in people with intermediate-risk HR+/HER2- breast cancer. Participants will either start the extra therapy if the blood test shows signs of remaining cancer, or continue standard hormone therapy with regular monitoring. The goal is to see if this approach can maintain effectiveness while reducing unnecessary treatment. About 725 participants will be followed for up to 9 years.
