New CT method may prevent unnecessary hip revision surgeries

Summary

This study tests a new CT scan method to see if it can accurately detect loose hip implants before revision surgery. 600 adults scheduled for hip replacement revision will get the scan, and results will be compared to what the surgeon finds during the operation. The goal is to improve diagnosis and avoid unnecessary surgeries.
