NCT ID NCT07469371

First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a special CT scan (CT-FFR) to the usual heart imaging helps doctors make better decisions about opening blocked arteries in people with severe aortic stenosis. About 300 participants will be randomly assigned to get either the standard CT or the enhanced CT before their valve replacement. Researchers will track heart problems like heart attacks or hospital stays for one year to see which approach works better.
