Scientists scan healthy brains to map fluid highways
NCT ID NCT06743347
Summary
This study aimed to better understand how cerebrospinal fluid naturally flows around the brain and spinal cord. Researchers used special MRI scans on 15 healthy volunteers to measure the speed of this fluid movement at different points along the spine. The goal was to gather data to build and test a computer model of this fluid system, which could help future research into brain and spine conditions.
