NCT ID NCT07249463
Summary
This study is testing a new drug called EDI048 to see if it can reduce diarrhea and other symptoms caused by Cryptosporidium infection. Healthy adult volunteers will be given the infection on purpose and then receive either the drug or a placebo. The goal is to see if the drug works well enough to later test it in children, who are often severely affected by this illness.
