Chilling news: could a cold pack make your root canal less painful?
NCT ID NCT07403578
Summary
This study is testing whether applying a cold pack inside the mouth after a numbing shot can make root canal treatment less painful. It will involve 100 adults with a severe toothache needing a root canal on a lower premolar tooth. Researchers will compare standard numbing methods to those combined with five minutes of cold therapy to see which works better at controlling pain during the procedure.
