First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at whether applying ice (cryotherapy) right after muscle damage helps or hinders recovery. Researchers will measure pain, strength, and blood markers of inflammation and stress in 60 healthy adults over four days. The goal is to see if ice reduces secondary damage without blocking natural healing.
