Frozen biopsy technique could sharpen lung disease diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07301697
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at a newer biopsy method called cryobiopsy, which uses freezing to take lung tissue samples. The goal is to see how safe and accurate it is for diagnosing conditions like interstitial lung disease and enlarged lymph nodes in the chest. About 30 adults who need this procedure will take part, and the results will help doctors understand if cryobiopsy is a reliable option.
