First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special cold and compression wrap works better than standard ice packs for pain and swelling after arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. About 100 adults having shoulder surgery will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to improve pain control and quality of life while reducing the need for opioid painkillers.
