Freezing catheters tested on donated lungs to improve biopsies
NCT ID NCT05948904
Summary
This study aims to develop a better, standardized technique for using freezing catheters to take tissue samples (biopsies) and treat abnormal spots in the lungs. Researchers will test the method on human lungs that have been donated after transplant surgery, not on living patients. The goal is to gather data to make future lung procedures safer and more effective.
