Simple blood tests may predict survival in crush victims
NCT ID NCT07433127
Summary
This study looked back at medical records of 325 adult crush syndrome patients in intensive care. Researchers wanted to see if simple ratios calculated from routine blood tests could help predict which patients were most likely to die within 28 days. They compared these new blood test markers to established scoring systems doctors already use to assess patient severity.
