Summary

This study compares two ways to treat severely hardened heart arteries after an initial drilling procedure. One group gets a special balloon that uses sound waves to crack calcium, while the other gets a very high-pressure balloon. The goal is to see which method opens the artery better and more safely. About 162 adults with hard, calcified blockages will take part.
