Broccoli power: could cruciferous veggies slash bladder cancer recurrence?

NCT ID NCT07391137

First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a diet rich in cruciferous vegetables (like broccoli, cauliflower, and kale) can help prevent bladder cancer from returning in people with intermediate to very high-risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. About 250 participants who have already received standard BCG treatment will either follow this special diet or continue their usual eating habits. The main goal is to see if the vegetable-rich diet improves the chance of staying cancer-free one year later.
