New IV drug trial aims to tame debilitating nerve pain
NCT ID NCT07210515
Summary
This study is testing whether an intravenous drug called AMBTX-01 can reduce pain and other symptoms in adults with a specific type of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS-1). About 270 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo through four IV infusions over ten days, and their pain levels will be tracked for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug provides better pain relief than the placebo.
