Botox shot tested for 'Worst Pain' syndrome

NCT ID NCT07473635

Summary

This study is testing if a single, precise injection of a purified form of Botox near major nerves is a safe and tolerable way to potentially ease the severe pain of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). It will involve 20 adults with long-term CRPS in one arm or leg to see if this approach is practical for a larger future trial. The main goal is to check if people can complete the study safely and to learn about their experience with the procedure.
