NCT ID NCT06350578

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compared two techniques for placing stainless steel crowns on children's baby molars with cavities: the Hall technique (no drilling, crown cemented directly) and the conventional method (drilling and shaping the tooth first). Eighty children aged 3-9 participated, and researchers tracked crown and tooth survival over 12 months. The goal was to see which approach leads to fewer failures and better long-term outcomes.
