Crossword puzzles beat lectures for teaching drug safety to nurses

NCT ID NCT07242755

First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tested whether doing a crossword puzzle helps nursing students learn about safe medication practices better than just listening to a lecture. 46 final-year nursing students took part. Half did a crossword puzzle, and the other half had a standard lesson. The study measured their knowledge afterward to see which group learned more.
