First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested whether a 6-week leg strengthening program could also improve arm and hand function in 40 children aged 6-8 with unilateral cerebral palsy. Participants did either standard rehab alone or standard rehab plus leg cross-training. The goal was to see if leg exercises have a 'carry-over' effect on the affected arm.
