Summary
This study looked at whether the drug crofelemer can reduce chronic diarrhea in people without HIV whose diarrhea has no clear cause. It also checked which standard tests are best at finding treatable reasons for the diarrhea. About 93 adults took part, and the main goal was to see if the drug could cut the number of loose stools by half.
