Can eating crickets build muscle as well as whey protein?
NCT ID NCT07159919
Summary
This study aims to find out if protein from crickets is as effective as traditional whey protein for building and repairing muscle after exercise. Researchers will compare the two protein sources in healthy adults who regularly lift weights. Participants will take one type of protein daily while following a 12-week weight training program to see which leads to better gains in muscle mass and strength.
