First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at how much bone is lost around dental implants placed either at the same level as the bone ridge (equi-crestal) or slightly below it (subcrestal) in the lower back jaw after a bone graft. About 28 adults will get implants and be followed for 18 months with X-rays and questionnaires. The goal is to see which placement leads to better bone preservation and patient satisfaction.
