Urine test may spare thousands from painful bladder scopes

Summary
This study looks at 1,000 adults who have tiny amounts of blood in their urine (microhematuria). Usually, many need a cystoscopy—a camera inserted into the bladder—which can be uncomfortable. The study tests whether a urine test called Cxbladder Triage Plus can safely lower the number of cystoscopies. Half the participants' doctors get the test result to guide decisions; the other half follow standard care. The goal is to see if the test helps avoid unnecessary procedures without missing bladder cancer.
