First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at how often ICU patients carry carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) in their gut. These bacteria are hard to treat and can cause serious infections. Researchers will test 120 adults expected to stay in the ICU for at least 48 hours. The goal is to gather data that can help improve infection control and early detection in hospitals.
