NCT ID NCT06788132
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested whether a daily capsule of cranberry, hibiscus, and vitamin C could safely extend the time between when a pregnant woman's water breaks early (between 24 and 34 weeks) and when she delivers. 84 women were randomly assigned to receive either the supplement or a placebo for 10 days. The goal was to see if the supplement could delay delivery and reduce complications for both mother and baby.
