New hope for kids with relapsed leukemia? early trial tests powerful drug mix
NCT ID NCT04915612
First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This early-phase study tested a combination of two chemotherapy drugs (CPX-351) and a targeted antibody (gemtuzumab ozogamicin) in children whose acute myeloid leukemia (AML) had come back or stopped responding to treatment. The goal was to find the safest dose and see how well the body handles it. Only one child took part, so results are very limited.
