Experimental drug combo offers hope for Tough-to-Treat blood cancers

Summary
This early-stage trial is for people with high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) or chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) whose cancer came back or didn't get better after standard therapy. Researchers are testing a chemotherapy drug combo called CPX-351 to find the safest dose and see if it can shrink or control the cancer. About 38 participants will be enrolled at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
