New hope for healing refugee trauma: custom therapy trial launches

Summary
This study is testing a specially adapted form of psychotherapy designed to help refugees and asylum seekers who are suffering from complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD). It will involve about 288 participants in Switzerland and Germany who speak specific languages and have been diagnosed with CPTSD. The main goal is to see if this culturally sensitive therapy is effective at reducing their severe trauma symptoms.
