First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at 233 people in Brazil who had COVID-19 to see how many developed new tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and how it changed from 2020 to 2024. Researchers compared those with new tinnitus, those without, and those who had tinnitus before COVID. The goal was to better understand the link between COVID-19 and hearing issues.
