Summary

This study tested a new COVID-19 vaccine called ARCT-154 to see if it is safe and effective at preventing COVID-19. It involved over 19,000 adults in Vietnam, including older people and those with other health conditions. The vaccine was compared to a placebo (a dummy shot) and to another approved COVID-19 vaccine to measure its ability to trigger an immune response and prevent illness.
