Summary

This study aims to understand how well people follow COVID-19 rules like isolation and social distancing, and what the unintended health, social, and economic costs of these measures are. Researchers will follow 1,000 adults in Victoria, Australia, for a year, including people who had COVID-19 and people from the general community. The goal is to gather real-world data to help improve public health strategies and mathematical models of how the virus spreads.
