Study probes why women skip cancer screening: is it the money?
NCT ID NCT05076266
Summary
This study aimed to understand if financial problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic played a bigger role in why Women of Color chose not to join a breast cancer screening trial compared to other women. Researchers surveyed 14 women who were eligible for but declined the screening trial. The goal was to gather knowledge to help make future cancer research more accessible to everyone.
