Tracking COVID immunity: does having antibodies stop you from getting sick again?
NCT ID NCT05365750
Summary
This study aimed to understand how long COVID-19 antibodies last and if they protect people from getting infected a second time. Researchers followed over 4,200 Kaiser Permanente Colorado members for nine months, regularly checking their antibody levels and testing for new infections. The goal was to learn if higher antibody levels meant a lower chance of catching COVID-19 again.
