Scientists track COVID-19 immunity in cystic fibrosis patients

NCT ID NCT05054582

Summary

This study aimed to understand how people with cystic fibrosis (CF) respond to COVID-19. Researchers followed 152 children and adults with CF in Europe for two years, checking their blood for COVID-19 antibodies at regular clinic visits. The goal was to see how many got infected, how their bodies reacted after infection or vaccination, and whether having COVID-19 affected their CF symptoms or health outcomes.
