Summary

This study tests a new approach for veterans dealing with both post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and alcohol use disorder. It combines individual therapy with a few sessions that include the veteran's romantic partner. The goal is to see if involving a loved one makes treatment more acceptable and helpful. About 80 veterans and their partners will take part in this early-stage pilot study.
