A simple chat before surgery calms panicked Wake-Ups
NCT ID NCT06686511
Summary
This study tested whether a simple counseling session before nasal surgery could reduce agitation when patients wake up from anesthesia. Researchers worked with 256 adults having nose operations, giving half of them special pre-surgery education. They measured how calm or agitated patients were upon waking to see if the counseling made a difference.
