Single counseling session aimed to boost breastfeeding confidence for new moms
NCT ID NCT07430020
Summary
This study tested whether a special prenatal counseling session could help first-time mothers feel less conflicted about infant feeding choices and improve their breastfeeding experience. It involved 112 pregnant women in Iran, with half receiving a 90-minute counseling session and half receiving standard care. Researchers then measured how confident the mothers felt about their decisions and how well breastfeeding went after their babies were born.
