Can a simple chat keep birth control in place?
NCT ID NCT07271836
Summary
This study aims to see if structured, supportive counseling can help women in Pakistan who want to remove their long-acting birth control (like IUDs or implants) early decide to continue using it instead. It will involve 900 women who visit family planning clinics. Women will be randomly assigned to either receive this special counseling or to have their device removed as requested without counseling, and researchers will check six months later to see who is still using their birth control.
