New cough syrup tested for tots with winter bugs

Summary
This study aims to find out if a liquid medicine called Rengalin can safely help reduce cough in young children with common viral colds and flu. Researchers will compare the medicine to a placebo (a liquid with no medicine) in 264 children aged 6 months to 3 years. Parents will give the liquid three times a day for a week and track their child's cough severity.
