Natural mouthwash fights teen braces breath?
NCT ID NCT07254819
Summary
This study tested whether a mouthwash made from the Cotinus Coggygria plant could help teenagers with braces manage bad breath and improve oral hygiene. Thirty adolescents with fixed braces and measurable bad breath were randomly assigned to use either the test mouthwash or a standard one. Researchers measured levels of bad-breath-causing compounds, plaque, and gum health to see if the plant-based rinse was more effective.
