NCT ID NCT04234971

First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study compares a new bone graft material (BMP/DBM) to the standard method using the patient's own hip bone for repairing gaps in the jaw of people with cleft lip and palate. The goal is to see which approach is more cost-effective, causes less pain, and heals just as well. About 40 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods.
