Summary

This study is testing the safety and effectiveness of a new surgical device called CORUS-LX. It is used during a common back surgery (spinal fusion) for people with severe, painful degenerative disc disease in their lower back. Researchers will compare the new device to the current standard method to see if it leads to better bone healing and fewer complications over two years.
