This study tested a man-made cornea implant (CorNeat KPro) in 15 legally blind adults to see if it is safe and can restore vision. Participants had severe corneal damage and were not candidates for standard cornea transplants. The main goal was to check for device-related side effects and measure vision improvement over two years.
