New heart pump could keep End-Stage heart failure patients alive longer

Summary
This study tests a new heart pump (Corheart 6) in 50 adults with end-stage heart failure who are not helped by standard medicines. The pump is implanted to help the heart pump blood. The main goal is to see if patients survive for 3 months and 24 months without a disabling stroke or needing a new pump. This is not a cure, but aims to control the disease and improve survival.
