NCT ID NCT07560319
First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether adding core-strengthening exercises to regular football practice helps teenage players (ages 14-18) feel less tired, keep better balance, and perform better on the field. Forty male players from a football club took part, with half doing an 8-week core program plus usual training and the other half doing only usual training. The exercises are safe and commonly used in sports, and the goal was to see if core training can reduce injury risk and improve game performance.
