Scientists put athletes in the heat to test a new temperature tracker
NCT ID NCT05692947
Summary
This study tested how well a wearable sensor called CORE measures an athlete's deep body temperature during exercise in hot conditions. Researchers had 40 trained athletes complete workouts in different humidity levels. They compared the CORE sensor's readings against temperatures from a swallowed pill to check its accuracy.
