Umbilical cord grafts offer new hope for stubborn leg wounds
NCT ID NCT07449988
Summary
This study is testing whether adding skin substitutes made from donated human umbilical cords to standard wound care helps close hard-to-heal leg ulcers better than standard care alone. It will involve 272 adults with venous leg ulcers that have lasted 4 to 52 weeks. The main goal is to see if more ulcers are fully closed after 12 weeks of treatment.
