Summary
This study aimed to see if different over-the-counter CoQ10 supplements are safe and actually raise CoQ10 levels in the blood. Researchers tested four different supplements against a placebo in 150 healthy adults over 40 for eight weeks. They measured blood CoQ10 and asked participants about their energy and overall health to see if the supplements made a difference.
