New hope for COPD patients: experimental pill aims to reduce dangerous lung Flare-Ups

NCT ID NCT07351734

Summary

This study is testing whether a new tablet called JKN2403 can help adults with moderate-to-severe COPD by reducing the frequency of serious symptom flare-ups and improving quality of life. About 120 participants will take either the real drug or a placebo pill daily for 24 weeks while researchers track their breathing, symptoms, and flare-up rates. The main goal is to see if JKN2403 is safe and more effective than a dummy pill at controlling this chronic lung disease.
