New drug aims to tame dangerous COPD Flare-Ups
NCT ID NCT07039669
Summary
This study is testing an investigational drug called 611 to see if it can reduce the frequency of serious flare-ups and improve lung function in Chinese adults with moderate-to-severe COPD. About 594 participants who are already on standard COPD medications will receive either the new drug or a placebo for one year. The main goal is to see if 611 is safe and can help people breathe easier and have fewer episodes that require steroids or hospitalization.
